Triethyl Phosphate (TEP) is a multifunctional compound with a wide range of applications. In addition to being a flame retardant, a reinforcing agent for rubber and plastics, a raw material for pesticides, and a stabilizer for resins, it has some other unique properties and characteristics.
First, triethyl phosphate is a colorless, transparent liquid, which makes it easy to mix and use in many industrial applications. Its melting point is -56.5°C, boiling point is 215-216°C, and flash point is 115.5°C.
